So many favorites recently … THE BEST BREAKFAST FOOD EVER
Yes, I said it. Ever. If you like breakfast food, you must come here. You will not want to go anywhere else. Ever.
The location, Copper Dome Restaurant in St. Paul. This place was originally identified by my friend Deanna, and quickly corroborated by many others. And to those recommenders, and A+.
I arrived here with Christine and Kelly at the absolutely worst time; 11:30 AM on a Sunday. Even with the worst of bad timings, our wait was just over 10 minutes. As soon as I sat down, I was amazed by their menu. 15 kinds of pancakes. 30 specials. Omelttes. Crepes. French toast. The options were overwhelming.
As is typical when I am in a restaurant, I decided what to order as the waitress was taking orders. Coffee to start out with. Then the hashbrown breakfast, which alongside of a generous heaping of hashbrowns included 3 sausage links, 2 eggs, and toast. I added on 3 pancakes for only $1 more. And the total for all of this food? Around $9. Not too shabby.
The quality of the food was top notch. Hashbrowns were done just how I like them, and the pancakes were great. To top it off, we had 4 types of syrup to choose from. I’d highly recommend the butter pecan … absolutely amazing.
We decided that we will be returning to the Copper Dome … and soon. Maybe even on a weekday morning, when they have specials starting at $3.29.
