Saturday afternoon, Christine and I were hanging out at the Douglas House, chatting with Dave and friends. In the middle of this, we found out that later that day, the most amazing event on the face of the planet was taking place at the Metrodome. My Metrodome. This event? MONSTER JAM 2009. Saturday, Saturday, Saturday.
We didn’t have plans for the evening, so might as well check out GRAVE DIGGER and BOUNTY HUNTER. What a blast. I didn’t really have any idea what to expect, but man was it amazing. My Kansas born and raised Bounty Hunter won the race, and Christine’s buddy Grave Digger won the freestyle, so we both came out ahead. And we saw some stuff get really, really destroyed.
